Alana Ruocco, a rising star in the world of classical violin, is celebrated for her captivating performances and virtuosity. Her debut solo album, "Brillance Indéniable: The Virtuoso Violin in the Court of Louis XV," was released in April 2020. She has performed with renowned musicians, including Nicholas McGegan, Masaaki Suzuki, Harry Bicket, and William Christie. Alana's accolades include being named a Juilliard Fellow of Mercury and winning The Juilliard School's Historical Performance Concerto Competition.
Beyond her performances, Alana is a respected educator, having lectured at institutions like NYU Steinhardt School. She also teaches violin privately and at the Music Conservatory of Westchester. Her musical journey includes studies with Marilyn McDonald at Oberlin Conservatory and master's degrees from Rice University's Shepherd School of Music and The Juilliard School's Historical Performance Program.
